Although this week's LPGA event has a stronger line-up than the last one on paper, with the likes of Ochoa, Petterson, and Stanford in the field I still felt compelled to take some of the 12/1 that Totesport are offering against Jiyai Shin following up last week's seven shot victory with another win. I have also backed Kristy McPherson who has been playing really well lately ew @ 33/1.

In The French Open I'm on Oliver Fisher who is starting to show some good form again ew. @ 100/1, and he did finish 6th in this event last year which was won by my old pal "Larry the Larrap" Larrazabal who I've left alone this time.

No bets for me yet in this week's US event as even though I do really fancy Tiger's chances I just cannot force myself to take the measly 2/1 which is the best price going. Hopefully an in-running bet at bigger odds will materialise.

"Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated. It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time maddening and rewarding and it is without a doubt the greatest game that mankind has ever invented." - Arnold Palmer aka The King.
