LOL, I couldnt beleive this today when I saw it was abandoned. We seem to have hardly any racing in Worcester anymore. The racing season in Worcester got moved to the summer a few years ago because the river runs alongside the course and floods every winter. It has flooded for the last 2 summers too. The floods 2 years ago wiped out the whole season IIRC and now we get it abandoned cuz its too fkin hot LOL

Jump racing should't be happening on July 1st anyway.

Flat Racing: March - November

Jump Racing: September - May.

It shouldn't but it was supposed to be the only way we could get a full,or close to full season in.

Crap horses running on firm ground.

Not of any interest to anyone and dangerous for the horses and jockeys.

Waste of time imo.

yes,all the stables are made from wood ,the horses where very hot before they even got to the paddock, i cant believe this situation hasnt happened before in the past and just ignored. racing is far more PC nowadays

Good decision IMO.

I used to be with Camel on the summer jumping (same with winter racing TBH) but the Summer jumps meetings have actually improved quite a big and I'm starting to become a bit of a fan of them as the form is fairly reliable.

yes form for coming months used to be very missleading as well,lot easier to win good prize money this time of year making a horse look better than he is,seems a biit better last couple of years, but i still dont trust the form in months to come
