Jake obrian former HW with a lot of knockouts at 4-1.
Paulo thiago at 4.5-1 dont look too bad either, guys got some power and good subs, he won't be able to take fitch down but he could be dangerous from the bottom.

Don't think either will win but I suppose if you can get those prices it's ridic. Can only see 7/2 best price for both.

yeah we all saw how hard fitch was to finish vs. gsp so I don't see how Paulo can do it, but a sub could be possible.

Jones is still untested though his chin too, going in vs. a big former HW i could see an upset here.

I know nothing of Alves so cant comment on his fight.

If Mir can get to the ground with any sort of control he will own Lesnar, he can catch a sub on someone like Lesnar so easily.  Lesnars best chance is to keep it standing and try to land a big shot.  Cant see it going to round 2, Im taking Mir by submission all day.

Id love Bisping to hammer Henderson but cant see it happening, I think Hendersons wrestling is too good I think all of this fight will be on the ground.  I think itll be a fight for position with Henderson controlling the ground game for a comfortable decision win.  I can only see Bisping winning this if he can stay in the clinch and rain in some knees.

cross posted on the baseball thread  (from digital spy)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's four days to go until UFC 100, and there's still no TV deal announced for the show - it's expected they'll sign a one-off for this show and then sign a long term deal from 101 onwards.

The Telegraph say it'll either be Virgin1 or Bravo showing it, and that the announcement won't be made for another day or two. They also say ESPN or Five are likely for the long term deal.

Still, even if the deal's announced tomorrow, this is cutting it really fine to get the event publicised. Especially for a show featuring a British fighter in Michael Bisping.

TBH, i don't think they'll need to advertise it that much, the event is that big, everyone who knows anything about this sport is sitting on the edge of their seats for this announcement!

Its gonna go to the ground more than 75% of the time imo, unless Mir falls into a horrible position where he cant defend a Lesnar flurry its gonna be all ova baby

mir ain't even that great at the jits, he said rolling with maia made him feel like a brown belt and when he coached tuf that world chap jits guy ended up coaching him.

I guess it depends on whether lesnar really has just been lifting weights, taking steroids and deer hunting for the last 17 months or whether he has been shipping HW black belts over from brazil and learning how not to get caught so easily. Maybe he really is stupid enough not to have done that? I dunno

Are you serious?  He may not be an elite BJJ guy but he is easily 1 of the top 3 BJJ guys in Heavyweight MMA.  Except for the Ian Freeman fluke and his farce to Brandon Vera, when he got back from his crash and was in terrible shape, he has outclassed everyone else he has fought on the ground.

He will crush Lesnar in a ground game
