Authorities say the 37-year-old may have been strangled with the strap of a handbag and had a mark on his head.

They also said there were inconsistencies in Ms Rodrigues' statement, even though she denied any involvement in her husband's death.

But they are curious to find out how Ms Rodrigues stayed in the apartment for around 10 hours with the couple's one-year-old son without noticing her husband was dead.

the ultimate ignominy for a proffessional fighter, strangled to death by your wife with her hanbag.

lets hope it comes out that that isnt the case and that he was just strangling himself in the bedroom whilst having a wank.
