These play tonight in a champs league qualifier, at Rhyl.  Rhyl are part-time/semi-pro, they do say they are full time, but train 3 times a week.  Partizan have won the Yugoslav double for the last 2 years, and have a plethora of under-21 internationals and a couple of Brazilians in their ranks, this is the ultimate mis-match.  Rhyl are the standard of a lower Blue Square Premier side/Decent Blue Square North side.

With so many youngsters there fitness levels should be worlds apart (laljic the youngster Utd have signed will not play though), generally Welsh premier clubs play a fair amount of European football, here is Rhyl's record over the last few years:

UEFA Champions League
Season Round Opponents Home leg Away leg Aggregate
2004-05 First Qualifying Round  Skonto Riga 1-3 0-4 1-7

UEFA Cup
Season Round Opponents Home Away Aggregate
2005-06 First Qualifying Round  Atlantas 2-1 2-3 4-4 (a)
Second Qualifying Round  Viking 0-1 1-2 1-3
2006-07 First Qualifying Round  Sūduva 0-0 1-2 1-2
2007-08 First Qualifying Round  Haka 3-1 0-2 3-3

UEFA Intertoto Cup
Season Round Opponents Home Away Aggregate
2008 First Round  Bohemians 2-4 1-5 3-9

Partizan are currently 1.34 on betfair, no outside punt, but surely this is buying money, also 3.5 goals is 2.7 ish at the mo, this is printing money tonight in my eyes…

I also like Partizan to score more than 2.5 goals @ 6/4, and more than 3.5 goals @ 21/5 both at Sporting Bet...

Nice one CP and a good write up.   Was on over 2.5 goals myself.  Did think about some others but quite frankly, lack the balls for betting more than I usually do Smiley

They play the 2nd leg tonight, Rhyl's manager hasn't travelled to Yugoslavia, and Lee Hunt one of their better players has gone on holiday instead.

I'm not going to advise anyone to take Partizan @ 1.1 to win, but I like Partizan to score more than 4.5 goals IF they play a strong team, they may not given they are obviously as good as through.

I'll try and track some team news down, but partizan over 4.5 goals is 10/3 @ sporting bet, betfair doesnt have such a market...
