Still dont get how this works
So i earn 150,000 from my normal job and pay 50,000 tax through the year
Oh but hang on, ive spunked 150,000 playin 20/20 dealers choice this year mr tax man so ive effectively earnt nothing can i have my 50,000 tax back?

They won`t or at least not in that way.
Test case some 10 years ago Tax man v Derek Webb result ? not intrested thanks .
Inland revenue would like to tax poker winnings but...not reimburse poker losses.. case closed for the moment.
