IMO if just RIB was accepted when really ONE of the three specific types should have been only correct   then RIB Eye fail was a bit harsh .......   Bit like saying Holland is acceptable   Oopsy, you did accept it

I specifically mentioned as illustrated in Wikipedia as stated http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primal_cut here. Three types of rib are mentioned but NOT Rib eye.  No one objected.  I was QM and that is final.  Don't argue with your mother!

Re read your message Laxie said Rib - if The Crow and Duke just said Rib it would have been a pass but they were specific and said Rib Eye.  I waited for objections specifically on that one but no one did!

I didn't even want to go there. It is the same as Sussex being a County (even though they have a cricket team) and Derry being Londonderry.  I took QM perogative!

Next time someone asks for a country where the answer is the Netherlands I'm going to answer France. It's just as correct as Holland is. In that it's wrong.
