Bad hand....I limp in with a poor pocket pair obv looking to a flop a set but when I get it the board is so draw heavy I really don't know how to continue and prefer to just call to try and pull out a FH.....should I have given this up earlier, is there an arguement to be made for me raising anywhere (preflop is a given) or best to pass earlier on in a tight spot like this? Can i beat anything on the river?

Calling pre flop is fine, look to get it in on the flop. Make it about 9k after he raises and snap a shove.

Can you see a problem with checking behind on the turn?

just realised that this is the sb in the action too. pretty grim river card.

he could have a number of raggy 2 pr hands that you beat -  but the chances of him betting them are slim

prob just a sigh/fold required

^^This

tbh I think you have to call on the river. Every chance he has 2 pair or perhaps a missed flush draw with the Ace of spades.
