Not a great start dropped down to 5700 after 3 levels.
Not seen better than 44 pre flop. And lost a chunk to Stuart fox
in the only significant pot I've played. Hopefully I can turn it round after
the dinner break.

No rush mate. Slow structure should help out.

How's the atmosphere there? You enjoying it despite the bad card run?

I like the old rope-a-dope tactic, it's worked for me a few times.

Gone out in Level 5
Managed to maintain my stack at around the 6K level when the following hand comes up.
With a raise to 500 and a RR to 1500 I look down in the Big blind to see 2 black Aces......
After the customary 2 mins of Hollywood I shove all in.
The original raiser folds and Mr Frenchman snap calls with QQ
Queen on the turn andits gg wp Froggy.

FFS very pissed off, I had a pretty tough table with Marc Goodwin and Stuart Fox on my left and Rupinder and Des Jonas on my right, that said I did not see any soft tables.
Was pretty card dead bar a couple of AKs and no pair bigger than 44 until my exit hand.
win that pot and I have a playable stack again.
Thanks to you guys for putting me in this tourny and I am sorry I did not run better for you.

Cheers Chris

Unlucky Chris.

I blame myself tbh. I had small %'s in you and Stu Rutter - you lose AA vs QQ all in pre and he loses KK vs 99 all in pre. My money sure encourages run good.

Could be your fault though - maybe the 2 minute hollywood messed with the RNG.
