I enjoyed playing a handful of SNGs at the WSOP this year and fancy taking a busman's holiday somewhere soon where I can play some more.

Given the following remit, where would you recommend?

1. Must be paid in cash or lammers as I just want to grind the SNGs and not be forced to play in the main event with winnings.
2. It can be anywhere in the world, but I am not going to an expensive dump.  Good weather, cheap expenses and a nice city to visit are all useful.
3. It must be big enough festival that I can play as many SNGs a day as I want, probably 8 a day, with buy ins $150 - $500 so that I get a fair chance of making enough to cover the trip.
4. WPT, EPT, Vegas in particular.  Current best plan is Nov and playing Caesars / Venetian depending on what action they have during their Deepstacks.  Festa al Largo (Oct) would be good timing, but put off by not wanting to be forced to play in the MTT the following day with a seat won. Any better ideas before November?

TIA!

the timing is off but the EPT's in France and Monte Carlo legally can only run SNG's not cash games so they are always busy, unless things have changed since I luckboxed my way through the sats a few years ago.

Thx for the replies, will look into.

Aruba - will I be able to get the volume in?

Monte Carlo - is there a good value way of staying there?  last time I flew to Nice and got the train!

Sat seats can't always be traded for $ Jon, i.e. Bellagio frog march you to the sign up desk when you win a sat and give you a ticket to the event.  The current festival at the Hard Rock otoh, do pay cash for sng wins, so it is variable.  I don't mind trading the lammers out, but I don't want entering into a $10k 7-day event.

Hotel Alexander is cheap, cheerful & clean, & run by a rather splendid French lady with a henpecked hubbie. And it has a Pink Panther stylee creaky cage-lift. Alternatively, The Hermitage is rather pleasant, with gorgeous bedroom suites, but fearfully expensive.

Fly to Nice & catch the train? every time. There are few more pleasing coastal railway journeys on earth than Nice to Monaco. Sit on the right hand side, facing forward, & see the most wonderful piece of Med coastline. The Helicopter alternative is such a waste of scenery, & by road, the dual attractions are whether the Taxi driver will kill you via excessive speed, & counting the tunnels you go through en route - there must be 20 or more, all hewn through rock.

Admit it - you do a search for threads with the word 'train' in them don't you?

Having commuted to the rat race for numerous years, I am not a fan of train journeys or trains to say the least.  That said, the Nice >>>MC run was almost an OK experience.

Bump!

Are SNGs something that generally run in vegas w/out the WSOP being on? With November especially in mind...

They used to run sit n gos to the big dailys at the bellagio. There will also be some on at ceasers for the wsop circuit events. I would hazard a guess venetian run them too, but sure someone will confirm.
