It's not for us to disprove, it's for you to prove Smiley

I have disproved it though.

Yup, it's currently marked as a fail until proven otherwise. Which I don't think it will be Smiley

On that note...

kinboshi: As a reference to the rockumentary 'Spinal Tap', the volume control on the BBC iPlayer goes up to 11.

I always did wonder why it went to 11. And after looking up the rockumentary in question I see the whole goes to 11 thing.

However, I can't find anything on the BBC iPlayer site confirming that this is a reference. Unless you can offer some proof then I have to fail this.

Ha ha - because you don't know something, it's a fail?

eg, it may have simply been a programing bug that they never bothered fixing because they thought it was funny, with the reference to spinal tap being a coincidence.

TightEnd: If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural cause.
