I bet that the group playing behind you sure has a most enjoyable game Wink

in the 80's did you ever get up the mecca bookmakers in tin pan alley?

I can't say that i did, why do you ask ?

my unlce was telling me about it the other day and what it was liike with all the faces that used to get down there and i know youve been about and thought you mightve known the gaff, shrewdies thread reminded me of it because my unlce always uses the word, do you know tony bolton to talk to?

Tony's been a good mate of mine for about thirty years although I've not seen him for a year or so.

We used to play poker at a club called The Mazurka off Windmill St.

Tony is a good friend of mine too,but I havent seen him for a while. A great character.
Are you related to him Bolt?

I remember  at the 2004 WSOP in Binions during one of the Razz events  he stopped the whole tournament for about half an hour after he claimed one of the dealers and a player were cheating. He took some calming down after that lol

the old boy ted used to run it?

Yep Ted Isles(sp?) that's the guy, he used to run the cardroom at the Sportsman before he got into the speiler business.

It sounds as though I probably know your Uncle.

I think this thread is going to end with Karabiner realising he's actually Bolt's father.

Please behave Andrew, I've already had one long lost son turn up in the last year and I don't think I could handle another.

Mind you bolty does speak the same language as me although I have no recollection of meeting Sue Pollard.
