The boards and clocks were all being sorted.  We have plenty of time on the Sunday for a blitz tournament.

It's bash lite for me I'm afraid. The missus is working on Friday afternoon so
we're getting the early train on Saturday morning.

I won't be at the chess club next week, so tonight I've collected 3 sets of kit (board, pieces and clock) for use at the bash.  On the basis of the response so far, I think that will be enough but more is available if necessary. 

I will have to bung the chess club something for the use of the kit, so if those who play could make a small voluntary donation it would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.  I'm sure everyone who wants to play will chuck a note in as a contribution.
