I tell you, that Ironside....more trouble than anyone else I've ever met!

p.s the guys at Luton did great...customer service over and above the call of duty. Much to be admired.

p.p.s if I'd known it was a puncture I would have bought a bike repair kit in Halfords too!

Me: You should be in the AA Iron

Iron: I am, But you try getting a load of alcholocs to change a wheel.

Dina, Miss World? Not 'arf!

And how's THIS for posing.......

I was supposed to be in Luton tonight, & had promised Dina I'd take her pic wearing a blonde cap.

as it happened, I was a bit under the weather, & did not go.

Imagine, then, how I felt when Dina rung me, to wish me a speedy recovery......

Eat your heart out lads.

But getting back to Iron's original Post, the ENTIRE top Management of Grosvenor Luton assisted with fixing the puncture on Iron's wheelchair. He was in a right state - his wheelchair kept going round in circles.

Management sorted repair kits & stuff, & attended throughout.

Eventually, the wheel had to come off. A dodgy job, as Iron had to remain in the chair throughout.

Colchester Kiv volunteers to "hold up" one side of the wheelchair, with 15 stone + of Ironside a dead weight in it.....

It will only take 30 seconds, they said......

After about 5 minutes, Kiv is going red in the face, eyeballs popping out, sweat pouring from his forehead.....

"Wanna hand?" offers Thee from Thine & Red & Burnley John. "Too bloody right says Kiv. Tough say the lads, we're off to the bar - be back in 15 minutes, wanna drink?

Kiv's face was a picture......

It all got sorted in about 30 minutes. Kiv then asked if he could borrow Iron's wheelchair.

A BIG up to the Management & staff at Luton, TOP customer service.

Iron did well in the comp, too. Lasted over 20 minutes.
