i dont reckon it's a proper split, this always happends, happend every other week in the 90's
If he had thought about it for a long time and said he felt it had just come time to move on i'd believe it but when it's because of a barny with liam before a show and he says he cant work with him anymore you get the feeling they'll be doing shows again within a couple of weeks as usual

I was a massive fan until 3 or 4 years ago, to be honest I think the music has got tired and boring in recent albums. I still love the early stuff, the thing I loved about them in the early days was that even the b sides had some great songs on them. The news doesn't really disappoint me and I always thought be interesting to listen to Noel do solo stuff.
As Bolt says they will probably get back together, Noel and Liam have always had a stormy friendship.

Although I must admit to singing along to a couple of their ballads on occasion when under the influence.

How can they split except for the two brothers having a tiff. The band is the two of them plus whoever they decide to hire innit.
They are still the best live band I have seen in almost 40 years though.
