Well one has gone, Mr Brookshaw (sorry to be formal, don't know his first name) just perished, he faced up to Joe Grech's AK with AQ. They both hit their undercard, so we are down to 4 now.

And Mark Jones went next hand, with 9-T against Dave Capons A-8,, Dave catching his A. THREE left now, & now they ARE discussing business.....

And a deal is done. There is 31,900 to play for, split 19k, 8.5k, & 4.4k. They have now agreed that both the 2nd & 3rd will take 8k, & the winner 15,900. So they play on.......

WOW! Dave Capon moves all-in, Joe Grech says "I never won a pot by passing" & calls. Dave is dominated with K-J to Joe's A-J. Board comes a breathtaking 5-5-4-4-5 - split pot!

They both look relieved. Only Lovejoy, looking for a freeroll ladder, looks disappointed!

I can't see this lasting much longer. There is almost 32,000 in lovely 50 notes laid on the table, & the chips are moving fast & furious now.......

Joe is showboating now. On a flop of K-J-4, & with all three players in the pot, they check to Joe on the button, & he gives it the "see the flop, bet the flop" routine. Kevin passes quietly, Dave passes too & shows a J, & Joe shows 5-6.........

It looks to me like Kevin is waiting for Joe or Dave to bust out, before getting busy himself. He fancies the 15,900, & he'd rather go to war heads-up than against 2 players...... That's my read, anyway........

Oh no, now I have bokked Kevin now. He gets all-in against Dave Capon, Dave is in deep poo with 6-6, whilst Kevin looks happy with life with his T-T. But a 6 flopped, & Kevin has gone. 2 left, blinds 6k-12k. They play to the death.

More money talk now, it seems.......

Joe is chip leader, by about 350k to 200k, approx......

Right, the Deal (Version 3) is 10k each, & they play for the balance, which is 3,900. The deal had to be done away from the table - that's the rule here.......

The last two, Joe Grech, & Dave Capon, are sparring heads-up now. Dave, the young, inexperienced lad, against the wily old pro. Hard to predict who will win - young Dave has been in a few bad spots tonight, but got out of it each time.

But he chances his arm once more by calling with 4-4 after Joe set him all-in with A-9 suited. An A flopped, & it's all over. Our winner is Joe Grech, & our worthy runner-up is Dave Capon.
