After giving you guys about an hour and a half notice about the last major satellites on Betfair Poker, I thought I'd give you a little extra time to know about the Main Event satellite due to be played on Sunday 6 September at 1830 UK time.

The buy-in is $500+$10 and there are 10x $20,000 WSOPE Main Event Packages to be won. Each package consists of The Main Event buy-in, travel and accommodation.

I'll go out on a limb and say there will be a decent overlay in this as all the other $510 tournaments have failed to reach the guarantee by a decent amount, just check the lobby under WSOPE and find the completed tournaments.

If $510 is out of your price range, there is a daily $55 that runs at 2110 UK time Mon-Sat where at least one seat is guanteed to the $510 and this will also run on Sunday 6 September, but at the earlier time of 1600 UK time and it will award at least two seats to the $510.

For fellow micro-stakes fish, there is a $2.20 rebuy that runs Mon-Sat 0840 and 1200 UK time and Sunday at 1600 which awards one seat to the $55 buy-in game or there is a $5.50 freezeout Mon-Sat at 1050 and 1300 UK time that again awards at least one seat to the $55 satellite.

If any Blonde member manages to win a seat to the Main Event could you drop me a PM and we'll see if we can do an interview to go on both the Betfair and Blonde sites as well as getting some links to Blonde etc to boost publicity etc.

Cheers and good luck!

Hi matt,

Sounds great- are there any player incentives for those who do well if they qualify through betfair. Not being greedy but I heard that the first year if you finalled you get bought in for 3 subsequent years- is this still the case?

Hi George2Loose

I've asked if Betfair are still doing the Threedom Pass for this year's WSOPE and will get back to you as soon as I have an answer from the powers that be.

I can try and find out if you can do this. I know they sometimes allow you to transfer the seat to someone else, under certain circumstances, but I honestly do not know about changing your seat for an entirely different game. It would probably be easier to discuss once you had actually won a seat in all honesty!

If you win it, sell 150% shares of yourself in the Main Event, use this money to fund the PLO buy in, hotel expenses, relaxation therapist....then try not to win the main event...
