OK I have two boys 9 and 15.
Both have got new bikes off me.
Youngest has got a Gamecube off his Dad, the eldest got a brand new MotoX bike for his birthday and Xmas (18th Dec).
My mother has bought them both portable DVD players. <<< they will be cheap and nasties.
Youngest wanted one of those Robo thingies - he wanted the dinosaur one, but at that price he can go take a long run off a short pier for it!
Believe it or not - they aren't spoilt!

Thanks for suggestions, I spent a fortune on them last year with 2 Moto X motorbikes, they have only used them once !!
I would like to get them normal bikes but not sure what style, BMX, Mountain, Choppers or Cruisers? Whats the latest craze?
I do like the tangerine and nuts suggestion
PSP's a little too expensive this year looking to spend about £150 each.

What about a trampoline? If you have space for one that is.

Both of mine wanted mountain bikes with dual suspension - got them both one from Makro 59.99 + VAT - £70.49 - bloody nice bikes too.
Now would be a good time to sell those MX bikes if they don't use them - season starts again in March, and people will be looking for bikes for their wee ones to start on.

Trace do you think Makro still have em in stock?
The bikes I have been looking at are all sold out in Halfords Argos etc. Put a few bids on ebay but delivery charges are usually about £25 plus bike makes the but it now prices the same as shops.

Apparently, and please correct me if I am wrong, but you cannot play standard PS2 games in the PSP.
The discs are supposedly smaller, so anyone getting one is going to have to build up a whole new library of games. Waste of good money if you ask me, then again no-one did. lol

Hmmmm Not too sure. They were by Excel and large (goldie coloured) one called Mesmerize and smaller (24 ") blue one Bravado. Makro at Preston had loads of the bigger one left, but only 3 of the smaller ones, and that was about two weeks ago.
One thing I quite fancied for Xmas was an iPod Nano - something to bear in mind for the kids!

The ps2 discs can be used via a plug in adapter, but that kinda gets away from the point of PSP(portable). Great tool tho, however games are expensive, as are the dvd's that can be played on them (again smaller discs).
