Hi guys.

First of all i know practically nothing about computers or anything else technological for that matter. I can turn a pc on and am technically proficient at pressing call raise and fold buttons but that is about it.

What i need to know is can i play poker through my pc on my television screen?

Could someone please explain ( using no big words ) on how i do this including and bits of kit, wires etc that i may need.

I would be eternally grateful to the person whom gives me the instuctions to do this.

Thanks.

If your TV has the same connection as your monitor, then you just plug it in and away you go.

PCs are better on a proper monitor though - the resolution on a TV isn't generally much better and will look far worse simply because you tend to sit further away from a TV than you do a computer monitor.

Yes you probably can, but the resolution of your TV will have to be decent (a true HD telly would be good for this) to get any benefit.

If you have a jazzy HD telly, the easiest way (that I know of) to hook your PC up is through an HDMI cable.

They will look like this:

HD-HD

or

HD - DVI

depending on what output you have on your computer.
