Briefly hijacking G1's Thread......

Did you know that Tighty once won the real Mastermind, or come 2nd, I forget which - & he's about to go on Mastermind again. I dare not tell you his specialist subject, but it's a corker.

OK, back-on topic, you may carry on........

The Simpson season 1-3

Back in my hayday, it would have been 'which episode is it based purely on the coach gag'

Name the Episode in which Burns offers Homer the job of Nucular Plant Safety Inspector.

My specialist subject. Assuming I pass the final audition, having passed one

"Football stadium designs of Archibald Leitch"

Fascinating subject, Leitch was a protestant Glaswegian who owned a firm of engineers, and from the turn of the 1900s until the 1930s designed and built stadia or stands in stadia at over 40 English and Scottish grounds

Eight of his stands survive, most notably the main stands at Ibrox, Fratton Park and one side of White Hart Lane and Goodison

I cant remember anymore

interesting. i was reading about him a few weeks ago. apart from football stadia he has one other surviving building which was the setinel works, where they made steam powered vehicles. This is in polmadie, just south of glasgow. (this is also where one of the major rail maintenance yards is located.....
