The interviewer asks him "What caused you to decide to call with queen high?"

" I was hoping mainly that he was on a bluff and I had the better hand with queen high, becuase the way the hand had played out made it certain that he was bluffing. He had called a check raise on the flop, and called pretty quickly on the turn, so I thought queen high may be good. However, I thought also, that if he indeed did have king high, he wasn't necessarily going to show king high. He had made a few bluffs before, and not shown his hand. I hoped that, if I made the call, king high might go straight into the muck.

However, he showed the king, and this is where I had to keep a little bit cool. He began to think that I had the winning hand, but just wanted to see the second card, and so mucked his hand. His hand was most definitely in the muck, and the dealer packed his cards into the muck. Then, I took and showed my hand, and celebrated as the pot was so big. He then claimed that his hand was not dead, but I would never have shown my hand if I had not been absolutely sure that his hand was dead."

This seems to be the one scenario that confuses dealers everywhere in the world. Why will they do anything from help the hand into the muck to, in this case, desperately trying to grab it from the muck?!

ty all,
spoke to marc about the ak fold on the ace high boar...said he was about to call the turn & either go home or catch the bluff on the river when the guy called another player called clock...said it fkd his head that someone could call a clock so quickly & at such a moment, couldn't then remember his train of thought & with 3 seconds left just mucked it.

"I clearly cheated and pulled a great stroke on the Englander, that should stop the fuckers coming over here pretending they are coming to see Anne Franks house and the museums, when all they want to do is smoke Rastafarian old holborn and bang a couple of hookers"

ive always thought roland de wolfe was a bit rubbish and never rated him and when i heard about this hand i thought it was standard de wolfe, he'd fcked up because he thinks he knows everything and probs deserved to make himself look like a mug but seeing the footage i feel a bit sorry for him, the dealer is almost pulling the cards out of his hand before he wants to muck and it looks like his decision to muck was based on the dealer grabbing at his cards and saying something to him

Eh?

He wanted to muck his hand, and it was the dealer that was trying to stop him!
