Guess players first, i havent played on stars for a while so i have only old stats on damian and few hands for the others (like 50).

BB 3better is a 5/10 10/20 reg, according to some old stats he was 3betting 10% total, in this spot however his range should be pretty strong, but obv not only good aces (do i have to write this?)

CO plays 20/14, multitables and pretty tight so far, not much 3betting
BTN is 48/17 who seems pretty loose and fishy
SB = 40/26 who seems pretty laggy

even though i definitly should call preflop equity wise, i was wondering if my bad position makes this a fold pre because of flop spots like this

Poker Stars $5/$10 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $1008.75
BTN: $2599.00
SB: $1686.00
BB: $1000.00
UTG: $1000.00
Hero (MP): $1073.00

Pre Flop: ($15.00) Hero is MP with
1 fold, Hero raises to $35, CO calls $35, BTN calls $35, SB calls $30, BB raises to $210, Hero calls $175, CO calls $175, BTN calls $175, SB calls $175

Flop: ($1050.00)  (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets $790 all in, Hero ...

Thoughts? I'm not really too interested in everyone saying fold flop, it's more the decision pre....

fwiw - this isn't a hand I played but thought it's an interesting basis for discussion.

I was just about to shout at you for going on a degen spewtard mission.

You saved yourself with that last line.

As for the hand I don't care. Unless you were involved it is irrelevant to my world.

Sure didn't do $2k in of my own money this weekend. Wish I'd at least played $5/10 to do it.

Online I'm calling pre then calling the raise. I don't want to over inflate the pot as I'm likely to be oop on the flop.

Live I might raise because live plo players are generally crap and you can outplay them whether you have position or not.

Flop is obv a fold. If BB has AA we're not in great shape with our QQ killing so many of our 2 pair options.

i think there is a case for folding pre here imo, 100bb deep and a gurantee that the 3better is going to jam a high % of flops of which u need to have flopped 2pair+, fd's or maybe oesds.
i know that ur gettin an excellent price on this call pre but i think folding here is better. Non paired hands pre r going to fair so much better in these situations.

DS could call maybe

Agree with Toby about folding to the 3 bet especially with others to act after. You're basically just gambling and your QQ plays badly against the assumed AA.

By flatting pre instead of our initial raise BB's pot raise would be $65 assuming the same action from everyone else. We can then call a much smaller bet and play the flop much deeper.

When I first looked I thought it's the right call based on the equity we're getting but we're not gonna be happy flopping fd's and having to get it in vs the jammer and we get put in a lot of bad spots when we don't flop the absolutes so I agree fold too.

Probably a leak but I'm no way folding this pre.

Tough to concentrate fully on .25/.50 afterwards though Wink
