how many times do the banks represent cheques before they stop it?

ffs julys cheque and im still waiting for it!!!!!!!!!!!! fkn recession!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well today is the 2nd time it has been represented,the cheque was for july work which is as of yet unpaid..

which means i aint had any wages since end of july!!

recession is hitting alot of construction companies to the degree where they are withholding monies and being really late with payments which has knock effect all down the line..

Pretty sure they can stay in the system for about 6 months or something.
Theyre will actually be someone responsible for deciding whether to return the cheque to your bank as unpaid or leave it a while and throw it back in the system to see if it clears next time.
Not much use to you though, I assume you have spoken to your bank?
