Just my two cents....

There are a lot more young people in poker these days than when blonde first started. The game of poker is also more aggressive now so it's kinda natural that poker forums will include a lot more young people who shoot from from the hip a bit more than people in days gone past.

There are things that go on behind the scenes and via pms that show great community spirit here. I played live poker every night for about 18 months and I've made more friends through blonde than I did with the many people I shared tables with night in night out. That to me says something about community spirit.

Now to derail the tone of my post into usual GreekStein style - I suggest that the person who isn't happy with blonde should make their own forum, so that them and their one member can enjoy the community feel!

You are right Kev, Blonde is and always will be a great place to be part of. It has done far more for us than most of my blood relatives. I get to throw off a whole lot of anxiety here and also have a laugh when I need to. I for one wouldn't be without it but yet before meeting Tikay back at Sheffield when Blonde was just starting out I was such a private person, now I don't mind opening up when need be to my adopted family. So much support both online, over the phone and in person, and financially, without Blonde we would have been going this alone and I am not too sure just who I would have let off steam to. Like Cos said there are a few that may fire from the hips, but  hey, it takes all sorts and they will fit in or go, either way this community is here to stay.

[hide] I think he kind of has a point if the situation described happened - regardless of a bash or not..... Think the rest of it is pretty ridiculous though.

lets say he does have a point(i dont think he does) why say anything? these people are supposed to be his friends.

even instead of doing it the proper way he bubbles them up to the td or some shit then comes home and starts banging on about peoples integrity and how theyve cheated on the internet, that's a low life.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, this mob mentality makes me feel a tad uncomfortable.

how can you have a thread then? people want to say what they think and it seems to me its impossible for people to do so without it becoming a mob mentality.

If one person says something it's their point of view but as soon as someone else does thats two people it becomes mob mentality, it's an emotive thing, how are people supposed to display their dissaprovale at whats been said using this format without it looking like mob mentality?

Think I must have interpreted the thread, I just thought it was about how, as a community,  we remain very much together and will continue to do so. Don't want to upset no one. xx

he has tried to out 2 blondes as cheats when its obvious to anyone whos been to a bash what was going on
he has tried to out 2 other players cheats without knowing the facts

he states "I refuse to remain quiet about such things."

well i personally refuse to remain quiet about it either

if others have same views they should be allowed to express  them

after all he refuses to remain quiet

Perhaps you can't. It makes me uncomfortable never the less.
