ok, I'm breaking my own self-imposed rule to post on this thread again.

Looking to play £220 EPT women's event next Monday (5th October). Looking for 100% backing for 70% equity, so £22 for a 10% share, netting 7% of any winnings.  25% already gone via PM, so 75% remaining.

Here are the usual stats and stuff:

HMDB: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=91885

OPR: http://www.officialpokerrankings.com/pokerstars/Clairep75/poker/results/706A2FA498B4450EAA23E354939B17E9.html?t=2

backers to send money by bank transfer this week.

I am still trying to ascertain the structure for the event and will post here as soon as I find it (if anyone has the info, please let me know).  In any event, I'd be comfortable playing a faster structure in an all women's event.

any questions, fire away.

rumour is 3k chips and 25 minute levels. unconfirmed.  If that's true, it's taking the piss a bit imo. I know I said I didn't mind a fast structure, but there's barely room to lose one hand if that's the case.  Still trying to confirm.

Claire - nobody should - imo - commit to a big buy-in Event unless they know the structure.

I have backed you a few times, & will do again, but not in a Ladies Event, because.....

1) I don't really agree with Single Sex Poker Tourneys.

2) I have never - EVER - seen a "reasonabvly" structured Ladies Live Event. They are like Media Freerolls - always poorly structured. It's patronising & condescending to the (female) Players not to give them an identical structure to "mixed" Events.

But if you play it - good luck, win the bloody lot!

Cheers. it must be said that i've often overheard women in these types of events talking about it being 'a marathon and not a sprint'. I'll either win it all or go out level 1.
