Def agree with those who said that a female winner isn't exactly what the xfactor wants this year. Am sure what simon wants, simon gets, and think the females actually look pretty weak this year.
The groups look appaulling while the over 25s seem to be the category with the most promise, all 3 are capable of being winners. The boys group seems low on actual singing talent but again if simon believes one of em can make him gazillions they will be shown in the best possible way to gain votes. Read books like ben elton's chart throb on how they manipulate the public-nice punting tool in reality markets.
I think danyl at 8.0 on betfair is a great price and will be backing this with a veiw to trade. Lloyd dsnt seem able to sing at all, but is in the final 12 and obv a fave with the judges, and will most likely fight joseph for the young girlie vote. As joseph is 12s and lloyd is 27, id have to back the latter purely for value, again with a veiw to trade.
As for week 1 i've backed miss frank and rachel both for elimination and both at 12s. I dont see either act catching the publics imagination massively and am only worried that candy rain may be diskliked more, esp as ex strippers. But they dont represent value for me at 7-4.
And i like every other bloke only watch this cos of her indoors...honest!

nice post, i think kandi rain are gonners on saturday, but its folly betting on eliminations before you have seen the performers, esp in week one where we dont know who will crumble under the pressure.

Agree with this 100%, not that the performances always matter too much.
I think Lucy will win this but I've not had anything on as the prices I have seen lack value.
Ricky must be a decent outsider if he can secure the scottish vote and the gay vote.

I can't decide with the annoying double-take twins. They are terrible but the public will either love them or hate them.
So tempted to unload at evens about them being bottom two tonight but can't pull the trigger.
It's a watcher imo...

Hmm, there's a bit of 4-1 around about Kandy Rain and Rikki being the bottom two, will see what I can nick there

Interesting first elimiination angle.
If it is Kandy Rain v the twins, the voting from the panel will go 2-2.
If the twins have been voted in the bottom two, then the public hate'em, not love'em, ergo they go.
2-1 if it plays out the way the market says if probably a fair price.
Uncanny lookalike...
