what would you choose ?

most people will tell you that in the current climate 'we have never had it so good', with technological advances, labour saving devices, and more consumer choice than ever. Others will say that the world we live in now is over policed, over regulated, and over populated.

so, you are given a shot at the delorian - you can set the year to be anything you want, but will need to live out the rest of your life from that date forward....so choose wisely.

me, i would go for a start point of 1960, but not sure whether I would choose to live in the UK (swinging 60's in london), or the US (kennedy, bay of pigs, dallas, MLK, vietnam, watergate etc etc).

You're welcome

1980's onwards then.

Gives you a good 20 years of benefit's being not too hard to come by - before they started cracking down on it. With plenty of job opportunities and wealth creation available to work your way out of it.

And even if you don't, still a lot easier life than any other era.

But then you have to re live Thatch !!

At least you could take comfort from the fact that it would all end in tears for the witch.

If you start on 1960, by the time you were old enough to enjoy the "free love" it would be the mid 70's and you would be in to glam rock instead.

2005. I would play on PartyPoker all day and I would remember all the most recent football results, so I would make made dimes betting on them.

Like the Oompa Loompa said, it does depend on where in the world you could choose to live, and also the situation you would be born into.

The present isn't a bad time if you are in the UK and are lucky enough to be given a decent start in life.  Wouldn't fancy Rwanda too much though.

Sounds pretty good to me.  I'm useless at remember too far back for scores so it would have to be something close.   Obv I'd go for the greedyness side of things too and want to make lots of money.  TBH, I like my current times, I wouldnt' want to go back too far, few years would do it.  I'd like to discover poker a bit earlier than I did and be balla instead of the fish I am.  2003 earliest would do me.

Either that or a long time ago, like 1700's or something.  I'd need to research it though, I dont' want to accidentally turn up in a plaque or some shit.    Also, I'd need to know what I know now, I couldn't be a poor person in those times.
