"Having just picked up mine the other day, i too was disappointed that there was no audio out/headphone socket. However, there is a way around it. If you have one of those scart adaptors with the input/output switch on it you can output the audio to an amp. I've connected up my TV to a pair of active speakers and it works a treat!"

We picked up one of those this morning, Kev still couldn't get it to work.

I'll have a look at it later but I can't see that Kev can be getting it THAT wrong.

Correction, he CAN get it that wrong, took me all of two minutes to have no sound out of the TV and sound through the wireless headphones.

wait a second ... It doesnt work as in "it mutes the sound from the telly", you have to turn the sound right down on the telly and because I am a genius, I bought cordless headphones with an independent volume control. Smiley

So is it working, it should do.
Scart sockets on Tv's should always output sound.
