New thread: Blonde Masterchef. 16 + entrants. 2 eliminated each week for lowest scores. Winner gets the blonde tshirt previously destined for bolt.
[?] Fixed ingredient list

This sounds good.

Don't think a fixed ingredient list would be the best idea though because people have different tastes.

Make a rule that no-one is allowed to repeat a dish, except maybe for the final.

Quality idea ...

Meh, easy for you, you'll be out first week.

Hmmmmm.......

Chicken madras
Lamb Madras
Chicken Jalfrezi
Lamb Jalfrezi
Chicken Balti
Lamb Balti

If I can think of a couple more count me in.

I think 2 variations of a curry is fair, as long as they contain significantly different ingredients.

Ok. Here we are. This took ages! And still isn't finished!

We start off with the ingredients:

For the sauce:
Onion
Pepper
Garlic
Tomatoes
Tomato puree
Worchester suace
Balsamic vinegar
Red wine (missing from pic)
Salt/Pepper

For the meatballs:
Minced beef
Onions
Bread
Egg
Chili
Worchester sauce
Salt/Pepper

I did the sauce first. This involved frying the onions/peppers before later adding the tomatoes/garlic. After simmering for about 30 minutes I blended the whole lot together and then added the rest of the ingredients.

Forgot to take a pic of the end product here, but you'll see it soon.

Then came the messy part of making the meatballs. This involved mixing everything together in a bowl then making meatballs whilst covered with flour. I then fried these.

And then finally we combine the meatballs and the sauce. It's simmering away now. I'll post a final picture later on Smiley
