Anyone else think Uruguay are great value at 2.58?

Having seen some of the games that Argentina have played under Maradona they have looked truly awful. The game is in Montevideo and is basically winner qualifies and the losers either ends up in the playoff, or if Ecuador win in Chile out.

Rich & I are on Uruguay.

Yup, had a double, Simon to win 2-0 in the Tennis and Uruguay to win. Simon won, so just need Uruguay to do it.

Might get re-involved later too, will see.

Argentina just arnt a team anymore, they don't and havent played like 1.

How can they when Maradona has used 78 players in this qualifying campaign.

They were really poor against a weak Peru team, and the defence was a shambles.

This.

In an ideal world Ecuador won't win tonight and the Argies make it through, a world cup without Argentina would be a disappointment imo. If they get rid of Maradona and start picking their best players, Walter Samuel for example, they are still legit contenders.

well i would normally lose intrest in the match as its so late etc etc

but unless the argies go 2 behind i am going to enjoy this

i dont feel the players have been playing with commitment

as they didnt understand how close there were to not getting there

but i think they will all be ready for this and even with the fat director on the bench

they will be too much for uruguay

Riquelme isn't in the squad either.

Fantastic player.

i fully agree with team selection criticism for argies, i can see a view that both sides offer value but i'll go with argies as they've got the best player in the world in a big match.

A tournament without Messi would be a shame but we can do without the cheating Argies thank you very much.
