Shove every time lol... Unless you want to play like some of the others at gala(numpties), waiting till they are whittled down to their last BB

shove, gala player has raised and will fold to your miniscule reraise showing AK, stating that he doesn't want to flip at this stage

I did that there once with  ... sb raised i reraised from the bb and he folded    face up with 12 left... his excuse was that he hadn't made a final in a while and wanted to make it... so sick that players do that lol

You haven't told us UTG's stack, or any reads on his raising range UTG

That said,

Average stack, assuming a full two tables is 50kish and you're down to 7xbb half average

Simple push, irrespective of results.

Sounds like the type of field where you can push a lot earlier than 7x bb, re-steals etc..so as not to get to 7xbb!

i had been pushing a lot and stealing blinds  and then got called a few times and lost a few races but had my money in good most of time .
And my money was good this time and i was happy how i played it just trying to see my mates point of view cos he is a good player and as lots of wins .

Easy shove because i) 99 is likely to be the best hand you will see before yr down to 3 big blinds or even less and ii) you should be very happy to get into a 'race' situation with dead money equal to 25% of yr stack.

I'm probably going to be offending someone I know here with this comment but I stand by it: anyone suggesting you fold here is not a good player.

Especially if the UTG player was wearing a DTD tshirt.
