A Friend of mine plays at a small club and recently one character has been winning allot more then they should have.
He has been calling allot of marginal hands at best and hitting.
You know the type gutshot straits , flush draws with only one card.
Now it could be that he is just lucky and a bad player. But the cards we have been playing with on inspection look like bad copies of a copag.
He gave me a card to look at and there is a strange mark on one of the swirls.
now unfortunately we only have a single card so at the moment we can not compare the set.
the card design is a Copag 1546 , does anyone know of a seller of these?

This is why u have a burn card before the turn and river. Just incase a marked card is there it can not be seen.

you're wasting time trying get proof and evidence, wait outside and rob him, if it turns out he wasnt cheating and just running good at least you know he's got loads of money on him

apart from having him shot, then there isnt a lot worthwhile you can do.
if you dont trust a game, for whatever reason THEN DONT PLAY IT.
plenty other reputable games out there.

I think that I will advise him to find a new game.
Although I do like the idea of shooting ... but it may be a bit harsh

I just googled marked Copag 1546 decks and there is a site selling them ready marked but how would you explain calling for straights etc, like Blatch said thats what burn cards are for.
