Ok I am stuck completely, I cant work out why I have a very good success rate in live games, yet online i suck the big one.

In Live games this month alone i have taken just short of £3.5K, yet online I am running at a £30 loss.

If I break even I am doing well online.

SO the question is this, how do I improve my online play?

I think you do so well live because you seem to get calls from players because they are over-keen to beat you.

That boy calling you tonight with the flush draw is a prime example.

Your table talk, and arrogance does seem to tilt people. It's almost as if you've a bounty on your head.

You need to play in a style that will make money online, if it's not working for you at the moment either

a)change your style

b)change your game, fae NL cash to STT for instance.

I have changed from cash to STT, however I still seem to get called with rags, and fecked oot on my arse.

However, I do excercise the power of the bluff a fair bit, representing the top pair and so on.

Mind you its great to know that i have got a wee bounty on the table. I had no idea I was arrogant at the table though, I need to watch that, I thought i had the "nice bloke " image not the "feckin tosser with my money" image.

I know why andrew called, althought is was a really bad call.  BTW would you have called that bet?

It's not really a 'feckin tosser with my money' arrogance you project. It's more of a 'You're a fekkin fish and I'm going to win' sort of thing. You don't need to watch it though, keep it up. I think it makes you money.

Often you'll refer to someone away from the table as easy money/a big fish, and that you hope they come and join the game. The fish who are already there and can hear you might be thinking, "I bet he talks about me like that when I'm away, I'll bet I can show him" which leads to call call call.

Not criticizing this behaviour, it works for you (and can be entertaining). Also, my explanation for why it might work is just a hypothesis.

As an EV warrior yes.

Another prime example of how you can tilt people. He sees you're doing well and think you're the buisness. It sounds like he wants to bust you for kicks.

2-1 on your money in a heads up match? He's not that good.

I'm a great believer of playing within your roll though and if you didn't want to play then you made the right desicion.

I was getting great odds for my money, but Given my predicament i think chrimbo pressies and food win over pride. I would love to take him on once I am pretty comfortable,  So all I can hope for is another offer when I am not needing the cash.

Speaking of heads up. A bunch of us should sort out a homegame where we can have some matches for bragging rights/experience/£10/ a good laff.

If I shifted a sofa there'd be room for 3 heads up tables at my place. Equally happy to bum on round to someone else's gaff. I've been meaning to look into home games in Glasgow since I got down here. Haven't got round to it yet.

My poker den is always available for home games, I only have 1 table though. But alas i am up for most things. How may people are you thinking?

what format too, £30 freezout and a few heads up matches and possibly a cash game? or is that overkill for 1 night?

I think a £30 f/out with heads up matches for those who've been knocked out would be enuff.

Could always do 2/3 f/outs if they finish early.

I could bring along a wee foldy-up table thing for the heads up matches. Oh, and some Grey Goose vodka Smiley.
