Mr. Galloways post is an interesting one and far too long to quote in its entirety. Having read it all the way through I decided rather than to bring up names to fill boxes, easily done and even easier to regret afterwards, I would try and place myself in one of the boxes. I can honestly say that I apply to all three and frequently on the same night. The way a player plays is always mixture of their own game and the remaining players on the table. Poker is very like the stock market. When everybody heads in one direction it is often very profitable to head in the other.

Have i ever called for 60% of my stack and then let it go. Definitely. Particularly against mdd
Have I ever got wedded to hand. Definitely
Do I play a wide range of hands. Depends on my mood, chipstack, table image but on the whole yes.

Am I simultaneously all three. Never.
In Zen and the art of poker it recommends that each hand is its own individual moment. In poker this seems especially true.
That was rather a serious reply.

I think I had better go and get more sleep

I very rarely play live (simply because I find it hard to see further than the end of my nose - reminder must get to the opticians) so perhaps I should not be quoting on this subject.

However, I agree completely with you Snatiramas playing live or on-line!

Sun 6 Dec at 5.00 pm  £ 150 + 15 No Limit Hold'em     6000 Starting chips.

Let's go for 75-78 runners for this one.

Oooh, calling all leaguers current and future, make sure you pencil in New Year's Day at the G Casino into your diary. This will be the day the trophies, currently being knocked up by lofty Silo Graham, for this year will be presented.
I'm heading off to Pepe's Fancy Dress Shop in the heart of the fens tomorrow to book my clown costume.

Please accept my apologies - I wont be able to make it to the G on News Years Day.

Looks like the 'Most-improved player' trophy for coming on in leaps and bounds during 2009 is destined to end up in Nirvana's man bag then...
