sorry guys never really go going again after the AK v JJ hand until i doubled up with J7 against A5. Final blow was QQ v AQ where the guy turned Ace high straight with a royal flush draw leaving me 4k which i happily shipped the following hand with QJ and got 4 callers one of them being someone who had 2k

board came 9 10 3 8 3

and the guy with most chips flipped 99 for a rivered full house...

Sigh!!!!

one hand that i really liked during the day was when i was around 11k

dealt  on the button and it is raised to 600 with blinds and 100/200 so i decided to call with position.

Flop :  two hearts three diamonds (at which point i was currently fist pumping inside.)

Original Raiser Bet out and i raised, He called(Raised sheerly because he was a bit of a calling station)

Turn brought the  giving me the flush thats when he bet out again for 2.4k resulting in me shoving my last ~7k into the mix

was absolutely gutted when he eventually folded but he folded showin Ace of Hearts so quite glad he had folded coz no doubt it would have hit ^^

A few of us from Edinburgh played this. We all thought the tourney was well run, only small issue was they were a couple of dealers short. Looking forward to the next one.

Ft'd as short stack and shoved with 66, BB looks me up with 10 4 and hits the 10.

10th for £200

As Jambo said, really good tourney pity about the lack of dealers other than that no problems. Beer at only £1.50 a pint too.
