Eddie Izzard DVDs seem to have a 15 Classification - he's never been particularly sweary, but I'd suspect that some of the references may be outside a 12yr old's experience.
You may get some interesting questions on the journey home :-)

Omg Dara Obrain is the unfunniest stand up ever. Only take him to this if u want to dissuade him from comedy as a career

Dara is one of the few proper quick witted comics out there IMO. I much prefer comedians that interact with an audience over comidians that just stand there and tell their jokes (unless it's Tim Vine as he is just seriously funny)

Yeah, what I saw of him on the Michael McIntyre Roadshow was fantastic...havent' seen more of him though but would like to....I feel a youtube coming on Smiley

bought him the new mike mcintyre dvd just finished watching it.,.,bit dissapointed as seen alot of his gags before.,.,.,

gonna take him to the rugby tomorrow instead.,.,he might have a few more laughs.,,..,

there is no age restriction, i also went to see him in newcastle and it just seems you have to be in the "in" crowd of izzards to get some of the jokes. i really didnt enjoy it, but one mans meat is another mans poison.
