ROLL-UP, ROLL-UP - NOW HEAR THIS DEAR LEAGUERS,

A number of you have been somewhat lax in your attendance at the beautiful G during 2010.

In order to qualify for the league u need to play thirty ("30") tourneys @ Luton in 2010.

The players listed below have played less than ten ("10") games as of 20th May - and therefore unlikely to play 30 in total - so I plan to remove them from the league table (and therefore the league) unless you confirm that you're likely to play 30 or more games in total (i.e. you're gonna go proper crazy for the last 7 months).

Happy to leave u in if u ask obv, but no response will result in removal from de table @ the end of the month.
Pls PM me if you'd like to stay in. Ta muchly.

Right, that's it, I feel that my league elderness duties are mucho completo for one year day.

Apologies for poor performance and general absence........due to work and shite mobiles.
[  ]  It will be different tomorrow.

Off to play on-line now to make up for missing going to the G to play in my fave comp of the week. FFS.

Our new leader is absolutely ruthless, which is good. No mucking about, no honeymoon period, straight in with league trimmage.

No need to do an update tomorrow Drainy, as only 24 lined up tonight. Andy Liew would've been number 25 but he left to go on the beers instead.

[League leader head back on] Obv anyone that played tonight doesn't need to add it in to their total [league leader head back off, aah that's better, it's good to be gay].

I was robbed again. Perfect spot. Handsome Paul didn't realise he was BB and went to muck his cards. I make some hilarious japey comment about him pretending he's weak.
Two limpers for 300, I have AA, make it 1700, and HP shoves on me. Wiiiiiiiiiii.
He has J7, flop 5 6 8, turn 9, river...scrabble!

So, on to the scrabble scores:

Me 288-263 Ding
Me 345-227 Ding
Me 211-95 Ding (conceded)
Me 419-242 Ding

And...

Me 342-361 Boer Wars

Norrrrrrrrrrrr, but was robbed obv. As in poker, Boer Wars ran ridic good here, getting both blanks, all four S's and two seven-letter words (biltong and impalas obv, the only two he knows).
Having been around 100 down I eased into a narrow lead as the letters ran out, only for golden bollocks to put the word K I N O down, thinking it was the US version of bingo, and then to find out it's some sort of farking tropical tree. Blessed.
Best of seven rematch on the cards before long, oh yes. This isn't just war, this is boer wars.

dunno if it's worse to get these in scrabz or perka ?! See below imo

Well done to ding for excellent run against chumpy in side games.

And well done to andy L for resorting to a much better pass-time than cards

and well done to O2 for allowing me to login to blonde on my iPhone this morning.

And finally well done to God for inventing Fridays and sunny weekends
TFIF !

In my defence I wasn't ready for scrabble - I need to build up to it - now I'm ready (hotline to Claw set up obv) so bring it on Chompy - let the games begin.

On a Eurovision note the Chompster admitted last night that he dresses up on Eurovision night and was considering lederhosen for this years 'entry'....

As he will not be at BB9 (despite having sold his action due to mad movements in the betting (someone translate that please tnx) he has agreed to dress up on his webcam (not an unusual night in for him) and is happy for this to be beamed over the tv screens at DTD.

You heard it here first folks

Here's what I've done Ding...

I had £500 on Azerbaijan at 11-2 with William Hill in March. This bet will return £3,250 including the stake if it wins.
I've laid £500 at 6-4 on Bettyfair, which means someone's backed them with me at that price. If they lose I get the £500 random donk has bet with me. If they win, I pay out £750.
So if Azer lose I break even, if they win I clear £2,000.

Also, ignore those previous Eurovision thoughts, there's no doubt that Azerbaijan win it as long as they pick the right song (decision on that tomorrow apparently).
Safura is only 17 and head and shoulders above the rest of the performers this year.
She will be representing them and it's down to three songs.

Ps, This is not sad. At all. In any way.

Blatant gay pre-contest brag over. I did flag'em up in March though isn't it. Someone said it was tez. Xpressman I think. Needs to get in touch with his feimine side obv. If I win I'll buy you a hairdryer.

Fully understand that - wd - now where do we sign up to get the same deal? If it's that easy I can't believe you've never told us about it before. FML. Just off to read the dictionary.

my sources say

a 25/1 shot is Anna Bergendahl from Sweden, 5th on Swedish idol in 2008. 5/1 for a top four place is fantastic value, really good song imo,

Sweden is a decent song and they've finally given up on the Abba tributes. She can sing and it could well make the top four but I can't have the performance at all. Obv not strumming so some dude comes and nicks the guitar off her halfway through.
Youtube has made picking Eurovision winners easier but everyone has the same info now, so the market isn't as unpredictable as it used to be.

Off to go through all the song again :-) Rehearsal performances tell you a lot more.

Slight continuity issues with the Azer rehearsal re: the dancing twat's t-shirt. I've only seen this once but I want to punch this dude so bad. Mind you when Russia won two years ago they had an ice skater on a foot-foot round bit of ice, so it can be done I guess.
