It was a cold pitiless night, no cloud ventured into that inky sky. No mouse scurried, no fox foraged. This was no night for non Ugg boot wearers.

But wait.

As the flakes, like snowman tears, float towards the earth.. a sound, a muffled cry !

Yes! there it was again, from that large outbuilding at the end of Clowngate Lane.

I heard it clearly now, unmistakable.

A sound that would haunt my sleep and chill my soul to the end of days...a voice mixed of hope and hopelessness all at once, its Eastern Europeon origins easily defined,

LOL, what's going on here please? Sir Donkeys questioning The Future Of Poker? Norrrrrrrr.

NO points on offer for last night unf, so Luther and Pizzled pick up zero apiece for getting outclassed by Danish.

Despite the snow of biblical proportions being forecast, a trip to the G beckons tonight. All aboard!

You may need a Tighty checklist

[  ]  Sleeping Bag
[  ]  Shovel
[  ]  Phone charger (I've seen you boys furiously texting each other all night, it's so sweet  )

Tighty should take a sleeping bag every time he plays poker imo.

I see they're now forecasting -20 degrees for the next couple of weeks, with weather coming in from Siberia. Even the all-weather racing has been called off this afternoon. Please let Heathrow dodge it until tomorrow. Wiiiiiiii.

Snow seems very hit and miss. Oxford had loads but none here in the fens yet. Trains and Heathrow so far seem to have dodged it.
One time baby...One freaking time!
Reckon they'll still get 40-odd tonight imo.
40-year heater is intending a visit, which should help thaw out the car park.
