so im guessing barely any1 will be there 2nite then??

wat u guys reckon 40 or so?

think it'll struggle to pull in 40 tbh. 25 tops i reckon

25 runners last night

final finshed at 4am i didnt recognise anyone at the final table

with only 4 paid people were sure happy playing until 3.30am and not getting paid

new structure is reverting back to the old one from next week im told

had the 10 handed final table, not sure how that went

4am finish with 25 runners; FFS!
I can't imagine why they are reverting to the previous set-up.....

If you slow the structure down that much, needs c5.000 starting chips to give it a chance of finishing

In doing so the random punters who thought the old comp was a deepstack and turned up in their droves wouldn't and we'd be back to the nice 40 runner friendly nights we all loved on Wednesdays.......lol

As it is its back to 100 runner turbo deepstack shove from level 4 fest that we all play and hate ourselves for doing so!

5000 chips would be perfect maybe even stretch to 6000 which should be fine anything upto 80 runners.

but why would the powers that be want a 40 runner friendly night when they can have a 100 runner manic night?

why they tampered i dont know, leave it as a turbo deepstack it is obviously successful in drawing in numbers theres plenty of other nights that need tweaking and if players dont like wednesday donkathons then dont play. simplez!

I played last night   ....      and the weather/conditions were the last of my probs.

Allowing an extra 20 mins for my journey up from sunny Hertfordshire, I eventually arrived      ....        15 minutes early.

M1 perfectly cleared (70mph no worries), all main roads from Jct 10 to the G sound as a bell    ....       hats off to the Gritter Boys.

There was really no need to have been heeded the silly buggers on the radio warning of 'Siberian' conditions, as they didn't exist!

No real dramas - I aggressively bet my pocket Kings pre/flop/turn/river      ......        and his J 8 off [ x ] did, [   ] didn't eventually catch up, to give him a straight.

Irish Open levels in the Wednesday night 10k turbo crap shoot welcome  [  ]

Irish Open levels in smaller stacked comps the rest of the week welcome [ x ]

Any news of Chumpy's week sitting on the floor in Departures at Theeeeeeeefrow permeated through yet?

Can anyone confirm if the schedule on the G casino website is correct?

I remember someone saying somewhere that it's not up to date?
