So I arrived in Vegas around 6 hrs ago, minor binkage on the ever so soft 5/10 at the venetian 2/5 at the MGM sees me $585 up and freerollin the deepstack at the venetian tomorrow.

Anybody want to stake - buy in = $340, selling 10% chunks at $68.73. Let me know when you get a sec, off to bed

xx

Put some money in the slots for me please.

No league points in the £30 triple chance rookie donkathon last night with 33 runners won by John "the Pen Man" Hunt

Nice man John, sounds like a cross between Kermit the frog, Stephen Hawking and an electric sander

Has a very annoying Grandson though.

Any scrabble to report, just let me know

seems like a nice enough lad to me. Far from the most annoying person in the G cardroom imo

John`s an absolute old school diamond, the Grandson gives a running commentary on every single hand being played at the table, how it should be played, what cards they have, what they should have done e.t.c

Problem is he made 5 calls on the cards his opponents had last night, and was woefully wrong on all 5 occasions

An office pest in the making that one

WP Luther, the MAS world domination starts here...

1 W Berry £1850
2 M Jones £1340
3 P Noonan £900
4 A Salmon £530
5 C Everton £420
6 M Fletcher £310
7 C Wozinak £250

A Salmon in fourth, A Fish in third. Clive Everton fifth too.
900 beer tokens should ease the pain of not binking in the fantasy league imo...

The lengths I'll go to    .....    to avoid playing the Tuesday night Freakathon at the G.

So(d) off to Brum, it was.

A pleasant drive through 90 miles of roadworks - being waved at by gangs of cheap Eastern European labour, sunbathing behind their protective wall of cones - and the target was achieved    ....     Walsall in under three hours!

A quick chat to Lucky's bruv (who's obviously suffering from sunstroke   ....    as he's elected to actually stay the week in the 'Jewel of the Midlands), and we were off.

I quickly lost half my stack - getting rivered twice whilst holding a nut a straight, and a full house.

Progress was then made and I managed to get to the break with my starting stack restored     ......      which was quite an achievement with the locals opening pots @ 9 (plus) x the BB (because, "they didn't want a caller" with their shown KK/AA     .....      bizarre!).

They soon decided to leave the 'Cockerneecoooont' alone as the chips started to mount   .....     (pocket QQ back to back three times helped), and a Final Table stack was achieved with only half the field gone.

Also present was the young Chinese fellah who's been doing quite well recently at Luton     ....      poor sod was to my right, and every time he raised I had a Premium Hand and re-raised him off it (I fully expect powdered glass - or worse - in the House Special next time I pop in).

Down to twelve, and Alan's 'Luckiness' rubbed off on his bruv    ....    all-in twice, running JJ into 88 (8 binked) and then AK into the Boots   ...     ul Jim.

Managed to bink Trap 3 for 900 sovs against a table mostly full of locals (not averse to keeping their mates in it with some fairly blatant soft play, here and there).

An enjoyable evening.
