I was playing proper poker:), but Nirvana was not, he took advantage of my soft play, he re-raised allin everytime i raised.I must stick to my old style if someone raises me, call him with any two cards and bink him....Nirvana we should be in the same table again and next time it should be 5 mins and one of us move to cash game.

From my point of view, lost £90's worth of flips to Chompy, did at least 8 sambucas and had a winning night at blackjack, after deciding to experiment with the fabled "stop and go" play in the tourn.
i'm quitting poker for blackjack and sambucas
My skills definitely lie in guessing colours of flops and winning one-hand Omaha face-up thingys. Think it was six on the spin, so would have doubled up x6 to £320 if we'd done it that way.
Elsewhere, I counted FOUR people wearing a scarf indoors last night, including Dario Minieri Snr Snr. What's this all about please?

Edna's team of seniors picked up a welcome boost thanks to Ding 'the oldest player on this table' Dell owning the wonderfully named Raoul Diggle and farmyard impressionist Francis Rohan. Good for 15pts.
In other fantasy news, my legion of followers picked up six more, while the MAS kept on rolling with another seven from long-back-and-sides.

Great final table. Francis "How to win friends and influence people" Rohan refused to accept his fate gracefully and after binking all his chips off in spectacular fashion wth only 2 BB left announced "If I go home with just £180 I'll never come here again and i can say that because I'm better than all these kids who think they're ahead and I'm going to get all their chips". Seconds later he left with his £180 slip and a lot of biting lips at the table as we tried not to remind him that he was never coming back.
Best comedy moment for me - the Mormon twins who were sat together playing earnestly at mine and Chompys table who bickered just like these guys. I actually really liked them but they they were really the kids Francis shold have been talking about.

Ben Pope reminded me a lot of Edward Norton in Rounders. That pair could bicker for England. Almost like a different language.

Time for another football bet imo - same as before, backing the away team (Sheff Utd) to be winning at half-time and full-time v Peterborough.
This fixture was called off a couple of weekends ago because of frost. At the time we were coming off the back of a win over Ipswich, who were terrible, and there was a bit of expectations for once.
Since then, though, we've just reaffirmed how shit we are, and we were uncompetitive at home to Coventry over the weekend (they were yet another team to get an early goal against us and then sit on it).
Things have gone backwards sharply in the past fortnight or so and it's a similar pattern as when Mark Cooper was in charge. Jim Gannon has been saying he's going to have to think long and hard about whether to keep the job at the end of the season, as this is a big job.
Our big three up front are now gone or on the fringes. Boydy has gone to Nottm Forest and Dominic Green is no kind of replacement. Mackail-Smith has been dropped a couple of times, while Aaron McLean just doesn't care any more.
The defence is still a big problem despite personnel changes and the pitch has got badly churned up since the frost. Morgan and Zakuani are hoofers at the best of times, so chances are it'll just be a hoof-fest.
Sheff Utd have plenty to play for, being just outside the play-off spots, and any team that's up for it will be able to beat our lot no bother.
100-30 with Coral and Stan James is too big. As short as 9-4 elsewhere.

The break obviously did Drainy the power of good, as he bounced back with a fine fourth behind Denman, who finished second, same as at Cheltenham next week. Saver points for Thomas back in eighth.

Drainy took a night off from downing stella and playing Status Quo chords on his guitar to earn himself seven lovely fantasy points.
The other Miller, D J, not Keith or Boer Wars, binked six more for
Greg
and George, while Thomas fans keep their scoreboard ticking over with another three.

Who is going tonight? If I'm not too knackered and can remember how to get to Luton I may pop up for the donkfest.
