Funny convo in chez-Alien last nite....

I had calculated that Little Red now has 2.0 and I have 1.91 in the league.
I had also calculated that Drainy Junior has played 7 live tourneys since turning 18, and he's won 3 of them!
This would give him an overall score of 8. Hmmm, FML.

It should noted that of his 3 wins:
one was his birthday SNG that I paid the dealer for (FML again) and little red knocked me out of (FML once more).
The second win was at stanleys
And the 3rd win was technically a 4 way chop, but he won the flip

despite the fact that 2 of the wins are not league elligible, Dan has has a marv start - in his 3-4 weeks - and he should be very pleased with his slightly unreal score of 8. (proud parent moment)

anyway, he then asks me how long it was after I started before me first win
when I replied "5.5" months he literally laughed out loud rolled on the floor laughing and could operate until his eyes refocussed and then pissed him self laughing

I pointed out that my first win was in the days when u got "proper" (90+) fields at the old club
I also pointed out that I was a novice
[ ] alot has changed
whereas he has had circa 3 years training (from his mum obv) before he stepped into a casino
he was having none of it

FML
 lol

This has not happened....

The only prob with making list owners pick themselves is that it will stop some people, who don't play regularly, submitting an entry.
I'm thinking the likes of Pellers, Tighty, Snatimaras, Tikay, Greg, so on, etc.
We want as many lists as possible imo to build up the prize fund.

There will be a revised list of 50, knocking out the likes of Tiddly Diddly and Sir Donksalot, and including the Matrix Twins, Andy Liew, Paul thingy. Gumbo.
So we're agreed then. Don't have to pick yourself in your team? This was blatant MAS team tactics anyway obv.
I may also not be available for pickage. Considering retirement again after tonight's shambles. Any tourney reportage could be dealt with by insta-disqualification...

It's official Nirvina is a fish. Well he does drink like one.
I moved all in tonight with about 100 big blinds, or it may have been 10 I can't exactly remember. Well it literally thousands anyway.
The fish in the small blind called me with nothing but crappy suited connectors.
He is like well the proper donk, innit.
I hit a flush on the river and he claimed to have had a bigger flush.
I was tired and couldn't be bothered to argue about it, so I just gave it to him.
Drainage.
[ ] I sure didn't have 89s vs Nirvana da fish with AKs.
[ ] There's just no way we both had spades.

Drainy junior took down Stanleys Thursday nighter for the 2nd wk running, making it 3 tourney wins in a week!
He's played 8 live tourneys since turning 18, and won 4 of 'em!
That's nearly 50%
60/8=7.5 virtual league points imo
