What weve beend doing for past 2 months is a 1-1 limit game dealt by me to show and introduce the games to new players, the problem we have if you havent seen the dealers game at luton is it can be scarily big. 2 weeks ago nearly £9000 in a 4 way allin pot. River saves Ade to chop with Tony. Average sitdown was £600.
Looking at all suggestions i wil be aksing Neil if it can be 1-1 blinds with an hourly charge of £5 with min £50 max of £150 to sit down.
The point was to set up a smaller version and develop it.
As stated would appreciate all feedback so we can get this up and running to cater for more new and local players.

Its available now on the cash screen although it will probably only happen on wednesday friday and sunday nights generally, you may get the odd game starting on a thursday - saturday depending on what players in the house.
My best suggestion would be that anybody on here should arrange for 8 of us to get a game going to see what happens.

Myself and Luther had a long chat about this last night Gman, now that its an official game and been Hijacked somewhat by the cardroom, you've left it open to those that want to win fairly easy money
From when you started teaching idiots like myself the basics,Ive heard of people losing £80-£150 in sessions which wasn't the plan from when we first started doing it 3 months or so ago
77Dave is right in what he says, but it doesn't work like that unfortunately
Private games is the only way the 9 of us who initially started it will learn at the lowest possible levels IMO
That said, fair play to you for at least trying to get something going

for me it will be a useful way of passing the time after a tourney exit, whilst my other family members march to the final table

Donkey.
When will (the winning members of) The Drain Squad be hitting the G next, Darren?
I presume you'll be tending the courgettes, whilst Tracey and Dan restore the tarnished family reputation after so many years of abject humiliation.
Is the rumour true that you're going to put a prop on the Blonde Live Staking section for Sunday's £5 re-buy at the G?
I'll donate ..... 2.5% please.

Their are 2 points i would add:
1) Dealers games are all pot limit based, you have had the luxury of learning the basics for 1-1 limit game, the people who have lost the 80-150 in 1 night is primarily because their not passing any hands even though its a pound and you will loose, probably be called by anybody chasing their 3 high flsh draw on a prd baord etc(bad play either gets rewarded or u do you plums) in pot limit the idea is to put the draw hands to lthe decision in the limit they auto call with ay draw hand. 3 players have leanrt who make the value calls over the last 2 weeks are realising to stop auto calling.
2) We have had the luxury of me dealing for you so no table charges along with chips and house deck, this would only be a matter of time before the house says enoughs enough.
As i already said earlier if you dont wont the table bullies or rappists joning the table i suggest somebody messages several people who are interested and then you start your own table at whatever time. - This is generally what the main dealers players do they phone each other up to ensure they get their game going.
Other than that i pass the mantle to you guys now as to how you want this to progress.

Agree with all points GMan ..... and fair play to you for all the effort you've put in thus far.
Is there anything in the Gaming Act/Casino rules to prevent a (pot total) cap being placed on a pot limit cash game, like they do on some internet sites?
This might be the only way to keep an 'emergent' game free from those that might well ruin/finish it, before it ever gets a chance to establish itself.
All of the people who've sat down in the 'G-Man Dealer's Choice Luton Classic' have learnt a lot ..... and they've played with humour, good grace, and the depth of their pockets hasn't been a factor.
I just think that 'your baby' has got to be nurtured very carefully and allowed to grow gently .... and not get chucked out with the bath water prematurely.
It's got the potential to phuqq the boring 1 - 2 NLHE cash games right off back where they belong ...... being played by pissed up chancers on Saturday night!

I have suggested a DC comp to Niall but only 5 dealers are trained to sufficent standard to deal it and also an alternative to the 5£rebuy comp to be run side by side on the sundays maybe another omaha- hilo myabe.
Again when you see him throw open your ideas.
Watching the Boree hopefully take down the EPT in San Remo so logging off for a while.
