A fellow leaguer sent me a text at lunchtime trying to coerce me into going tonight asking if I was going tonight
I tried to fend off the invitation but alas the desire to attend is getting too much for me this arvo
in addition to trying to stay away from the G, I have also been trying to stay off the booze.
I have been doing ok at both and then this afternoon I get a text from another local St. Albans leaguer telling me that's he's going tonight and plans to drive
FML
[ ] I sure am good at stopping doing things
[ ] I doubt very much that I'll be there tonight

just thought id put a point of view across as to what grahams doing at luton with the dealers choice game and being someone who regularly plays in the main game.
what grahams doing in my opinion, and certainly from the point of all the other players ive spoken to is nothing short of awesome-he's introducing people to another side of poker, which luton should have tried to do ages ago ,but unfortunately could never even begin to organise, or even want to so, believe me i think we are all grateful to him for that!
Addressing the issue of size i do believe there is a huge misconception that the dealers game is massive and out of the pockets of most people-that is rubbish..........most of the time there is much more money in the hold-em game apart from occasions when we get a visit from a london visitor but these times are less and less frequent now-as for the 9k pot mentioned in one of the earlier threads-this just didnt happen.....rarely is a pot more than 1k unless its festival week and with speaking to tony most days i can assure you he would have remembered getting rivered for 9k!!!
