Not a bad week this week and pleasing to see Alex Burton bink. Comes down to the G a couple of times a year from Inverness for festivals. Good lad.

Yes, good bloke. Takes him an hour on the plane to Luton vs a 3 hour drive to Aberdeen.

Concurred ..... good old boy Alex - had some friendly banter with him during GUKPT week last year.
Been dying to play this week but I've got a hole in my jaw the size of the Grand Canyon after having a wisdom (cue looks of disbelief) tooth out.

Took all his money on the cash table in the early hours, plenty of banter and japes all round
They did a 6 way deal in the £250 for £2300 each, then played on for what was left up top,and the Champ of Champs seat
Alex isnt MAS material though,he drinks Strongbow cider from the bottle, bad form sir

Early bird bonus for those not sure what it actually entails:
The player must be in the building to register you cannot buy anyone in, otherwise defeats purpose.

I mentioned to Ian that maybe they shouldnt do it for any re-buy comps, as your trying to generate money
Knowing most of the Sunday £5 lot,2500 chips would do them, and the prize pool would decrease imo

I think its a good idea. We, as players, easily complain when we can't get in as alternates and struggle to accept that its often tricky to assess how many people are going to turn up late and the wrong number of tables are opened
Now you have an incentive to get there early, and the alternates issue should be alleviated.
Of course its problematic for those who simply can't get there before the start, but you can't have it all ways as a group of players.

Agree however some players cant resist any 2 suited it would still go in, only certain players like Ray would grind all day.
But your right would generate too many chips.
