LOLZ, wp Holdy. You're queen of the xtranormal site if not the scrabble board, as highlighted below:

Me 414 - 351 Holdorfold
Me 319 - 285 Evil
Me 337 - 304 Evil
Me 429 - 327 Evil

Come on Tighty, let's have that opening league table up please.
Rivered Edna in the second of three games with U N I T E R S on a treble word with 50 bonus.

Oh, and some old bloke with a handbag won tonight's £30 thing (no bonus points), while a Luther lookalike, only sporting some sort of afro, finished sixth.

My fantasy team are starting to showboat now they know the league is in the (man)bag

Tikay may have looked like a German sex tourist tonight, but when your team turn up at will and destroy the best Luton has to offer, surely the game is up

Paddy Power would have paid out by now with grace and dignity

The fat lady is clearing her throat as we speak

So Television's Tony Handbag storms to victory in the Rookie donkament for 15 points ahead of Mini Drainy and Luther. The league table has been updated. I would write more but that plonker Drainful has rather stolen my thunder. I don't know, he dicks around doing very little when in charge and then, once relieved of responsibility in a coup d'etat worthy of General Pinochet's Junta he comes to life with morning posts, cogent information and the obligatory teenage spelling of words like "woz".

the fantasy League table is also updated where nirvana overtakes Luther into fourth courtesy of a Handbag in his team

At the top the Battle royal betweeen someone with a lot of hair and someone without a lot of hair continues.

For reference these are the two teams scrapping for the title. Who is your money on?

Gotcha!’ (A.Gotch)
Adrian Gotch
Paul Noonan
Phil Cooklin
James Miller
Tony Kendall

‘Phoenix 5’ (G.Rogers)
Adrian Gotch
Paul Noonan
Graham Wheldon
Ian Needleman
Graham Rogers

In effect it comes down to Cooklin/Miller/Handbag against Wheldon/Needleman/Rogers.

Initial scrabble table upcoming.

The fantasy league ends on 30th June. Am I correct in thinking you would all like one for the second half of the year? Obviously with different prices for players (Rockstar £10m, nirvana £1m) and a tweak or two in the rules, but you'd be interested in having another league?

Scrabble League

Name                      Played Won  Lost Bonus   Pts      Score
Chompus Minimis        4        4       0    1          14       3.5
HoldorThesaurus        1        0       1    0            0         0
Evil2letters                4        0       1    0            0         0

On a statistically significant sample size of one night it is interesting to see how far ahead the male, Chompus Minimis, is ahead of both his female competitors. One can only expect this to continue. Especially as those males not as dumb as Chompus enter the fray.
