So that means G-Man steals overall victory from Rockstar.

Norrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I run so good innit!

Well played Xpressman and British Gas. Can't have the MAS dominating FLII, so might put a second team in.

Well done to Rockstar & G-Man too.

In an ironic twist,i believe Mr.Chompy paid his way out of his bet with Boer Wars early

What was his bet?

Chompy backed Gmans team to beat mine in the Fantasy league,it was looking bleak so Chompy bottled it early for reduced liability and settled up

Today is a good day to be alive

I lent Boer Wars £100 a few weeks ago as he was fresh out of impala burgers and needed to graze but, to the best of my knowledge, the bet still goes ahead...

NEW ADVENTURE..... WITH THE GILLS !!

Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep      .......

What's that sound?

It's the sound of the Plums/Nirvana open top bus reversing back into it's garage       ......           apparently the Victory Parade round, and round, the G carpark has been cancelled!

Well done to Sir Ian Needleman (and all other members of the team    .....      except USADennis, of course) for their efforts over the last six months in making Dave Johnson's life an utter misery.

Good/deserved result for Xpressman who kept the faith in his game, after countless outdraws/bad beats of late.

It just goes to show you can be a nice guy as well as a good poker player.

So Fantasy League 1 went to the final comp on the last day    ....        well it was fun    .....     produced some great banter    .....   let's hope League 2's as good.

Thank you all for all your congratulations and especially Luther who wrote some nice words about me, which I do appreciate. The nicest thing about poker is the good banter and relationships you build up with your fellow players, and even though we are all there to win, most of the time the poker is always played in a good spirit, with the odd exception when we all tilt !!

Sorry Dave J for assisting in your defeat on the last night of the league however, we go back a long way, and I am sure you wont mind too much

by the way Tighty can you add + 1 to my total.

Do I still have time to enter a team in the new fantasy league and when does it start ?

LOLZ. Sure played 6 this month too.

Xpress, you have until midnight tomorrow to enter a team in FLII. As does G-Rodge, cough cough cough.

Unimaginative and Alex both played zero this month.

plum towers 5am july 1st 2010

[    ]  D J sure can upload a photo of Broadmoor.

[    ]  Chompy's skills as an Arber sure worked out well in his bet with the Crocodile Cruncher.

[    ]  The MAS sure got it wrong in League 1.

[ x ]  Nirvana will have to fork out for new pair of flip flops himself.

[ x ]  Devestated Dave might well be munching humble pie tonight     ......     instead of, "putting my original 50 stake in my back pocket and buying a lovely fillet steak and a large red with the other 50"    ......    mwaaaaahhhh!

Well done on your win

Remember tonight is the first time the '1.5k in extra chips if you've registered by 8.15' promo is due to be enacted      .....       apparently they're forming a queue as I type.

Be interesting to see how this affects Thursday night in particular imo.
Thursday has been struggling for a while and there hasn't been a lot of value in playing it as a proper rebuy for a while. Now it's 5.5k starting stack + 4k add-on, isn't it pretty much gonna end up playing out the same way as Monday night?
