Apparently not .. Logical really as the whole point is to get early registrations.... The question therefore still stands

What can I say.....the drought is over. As soon as I am dropped from Rockstars fantasy team my world recovers to its normal suck out, fist pumping, one time (all night) best..... I will of course drop down to mid division come the end of month totals....but I don't give a toss I just hated being last.......I may well be back in retirement for a bit as it looks like a v busy time at work. Maybe during my holidays in August I might sneak in a couple of wacky Wednesdays.
It was great to play with OTB last night who has it would appear picked up the curse of the Rockstar. I wish you luck in the next few months.
Also notable people, the judge was back in town and he witnessed my super suckout against a slow rolling aces player. Down to 11 SRAP raises into my big blind and I decide to stick it up him with KJ. Dwell up call. I turn over my KJ off. He smugly exposes Kings. This guy says boom every time he wins a hand. The flop gives me the straight draw. Duly hit on the turn. "BOOM!"
The look on the Judges face priceless.
Good to be on a final table with Tom who was just concentrating on his poker. When he does this it is no surprise that he starts to harvest points.

All going well it was. Nice stack at 800-1600, somewhere around double the average.
Then the Evil one rises to 4k utg, I get KK in the BB, set her in, she calls with 77. The magical powers kick in. Sigh.
So the slide begins. Final table with 15xBB. One limper, I shove the button with 10 10. TV'S Tony Kendall wakes up with KK behind. GG.
Anyhoo, the upshot is a five-way chop, with a one-hand turnover jobbie to decide the rankings.
No results email, so am trusting Tikay's text...
"Five-way chop, then blind turnover. Edna fourth, me third. Again"
Seven points to handbag, nine points to manbag.
If anyone is going along for tonight's two-dayer-within-a-day marathon, could they grab the results book and verify the £100 ressie, plus check out the £5 rebuy ressie-ult. Ty.

Have just emailed Kalam Towers to make sure I'm on the list to receive results as a matter of course.
Anyway, time to start inventing those July tourneys-played figures everyone, up to and including Friday.

Poss interested, if I get back in time. A bit crapshooty although with 5 seats guaranteed I can see why it's been set at those levels

That's correct, though there was an oddity to the chop, & I mention it as I don't know who is, or is not, in the various Leagues.
With all 5 players almost level on chips at 0200am, & with the average stack at 5k/10k/1k being 7 x BB's, an equal chop was agreed, £700 each. (£300 - 3 x £100 - had been saved for 6th, 7th & 8th, leaving £3,500 to split).
The five players were the big guy from the Western, George Michael, Edna, thick set Asian lad (Tesco Store Manager), & me.
As we got up to fetch the money, someone mentioned that we had to do a one hand blind turnover for "the proper result".
The Asian Lad won that, George was 2nd, me 3rd, Western guy 4th, & Edna 5th.
However, George then claimed "victory", as he said he had most chips when the chop was agreed, & he insisted on being credited with 1st place.
Western Guy was not fussed what position he was given, & he took the ticket for 5th. When the tickets were written out, Edna thus got elevated to 4th, & I retained my "official" 3rd place.
