To be fair to Luton, they are aware that things need to change. Carmel & Nina are very keen to improve the card room and are looking at ways to do it. Niall has gone now (not that he was the problem) so there will be a new card room manager coming in. Won't be Ian unfortunately as he is going back into the pit.

Also there is a sort of surprise to be announced tonight for those of you going to Wankers Wednesday. Nothing earth shattering but a start in an attempt to give some value back to the regular punters.

What am I talking about. I never play there anyway. i had a chance to play a couple of saturdays ago. I went to the Circus. Self dealt comp. Funny how you get fewer dickheads at a self deal comp. When I get my next chance to go to play poker i will make a decision on the night but if it is a weeknight I will play in town and if it is a weekend I will avoid the G as I don't like the clientelle in the nightclub part of the building. I think I must be too old for this venue. The problem is I used to play the casino floor for a few quid each visit and then they decided to tell me that the cardroom doesn't make money so I felt like they didn't want me in the building.
So now I will go somewhere that tells me they want me to be there. That speaks to me politely.I will play poker there. I may play the casino games a little as well. It really does not take much to keep your punters happy. Deffo going to play the deeper stack at the Circus however. Class tourney at a casino that isn't a nightclub

personally i like the chance to look at something more appealing than chompy's grin as he calls me down with A high (nh,wp, ty for not mentioning that). i mean its far enough away from the cardroom to not impact i think, plus there are some great tits on display sometimes. Come on sunday snat, 2pm, no raver's out that late.

Things seem to be on the up numbers-wise at de G, with almost 50 on Monday and an epic 84 turning up last night for some midweek masturbation.
Now would seem like a good time to get some run-good $$$$$ off 40-year-heater, as he's back on fire (good news for TV's Tony Kendall's fantasy team). Otherwise, no leaguers among the cash positions unf, but a couple of notables, with 77Dave in seventh and Crispy Nick in ninth.
