forget the urban dictionary - their interpretation is tame compared to the 'moon docking' LML was on about.  try googling the phrase followed by the word condom and clicking the 8th link down

If you google "Chompy" the 8th link down is "great".

google "Dean is" & it comes up in the 5th link with "a loser".

"Can I get p" - just don't go there. Makes moondocking seem positively tame.

Think its time for your warm milk and nap ....

No nappage today. Played poker at Luton until 4am, never got to the office until 10am, & have PTP tonight.

Sadly, no afternoon nap = evening grumpyness.

Anyone seen any good films recently, and for cheaper than £24 a ticket?

watched Wall St Money Never Sleeps the other afternoon.  Not top drawer, 7/10 stuff, and miles more appealing than anything else that was showing at the time.

Thought about seeing that, & the one about the Facebook founder, but plumped for "Made in Dagenham" in the end.

It had that Miranda somebody in it, playing Barbara Castle, a good portrayal, though the Harold Wilson character got it all wrong.

I cried three times. Funny how films get you like that sometimes.

And what was those things that ding had that she was trying to make tikay eat? Looked like she had brought her work to the casino in a paper bag ffs.

Chocolate flapjacks, I believe. I'd never tried them before, but I must say, they were rather nice. Deffo looked iffy, though.

Is this another expression I need to be looking up in the urban dictionary?

I have been summarily corrected.

It seems that they were not "flapjacks", they were "chocolate brownies". There is a big difference. Apparently.

Thank gawd it wasn't a brown derby

Oh good lord!  Am I reading the correct definition?  Driving is involved?  Is that even physically possible?!  Hope Kin doesn't see this thread.  He'll be on a whole other sort of driving rant.

I just remembered something else from what was a particularly revealing & insightful evening at Luton.

HoldyFoldy explained to me what a money shot was.

The expression "money card" had been used, & she said "lucky they never said "money shot"".

"Why, what does it mean?", I innocently enquired, then sat there wide-eyed & listened to the explanation.

Amazing what you learn in a poker tourney.

either you have a different definition of driving to most or you're reading the wrong one!  actually yeah, 'driving' probably just about covers it

LOL I have just remembered a classic from Tikay last night in response to Tom asking if anyone wants to hear another joke:

"Tom, I would rather be bummed by Brian than listen to another joke"

Yes, there was a LOT of anal talk last night ..... see what LML started  Wink

Confirmed as true. Brian the Bookie it was, too.

It's weird, Tom always says "want to hear a joke?", which is followed by complete silence, everyone is in denial as to the question, & afraid to make eye contact. Then he tells it anyway. Takes all sorts, I guess.

I'm actually wondering if I can use my "Desire" smart-phone thingy as a sort of music player/i-pod sort of thing. Or at least put the earphones in & pretend I am listening to it.

You can.  I've just loaded a mountain of music onto mine for exactly that purpose.

And your phone came with headphones btw.  Good luck tracking them down now if ya never noticed before.

I reckon the only way to properly round up the day's chat on this thread would be for Gavchelle to post their 'reaction' vid here Cheesy
